Exakta REAL [black] (VERY RARE)

The Exakta REAL, produced by Ihagee-West in Berlin, was the last attempt to produce a professional caliber SLR bearing the Exakta name in Germany. Unfortunately, it was short-lived, less reliable than its predecessors, and is now quite uncommon.

In black enamel finish, the REAL is one of the ultimate Exakta rarities with only a small handful known.

Both Schneider Kreuznach and Schacht-Ulm produced lenses for it. It is pictured here with the very desirable, 50mm f1.9 Schneider Auto Xenon lens that is quite uncommon in REAL mount.
