Canonflex Accessories |
Accessories for the Canonflex cameras will be added to this web page as I can locate them for my collection.
Canonflex Meter with Case Three
versions of the Canonflex meter exist, two with a 1/1000th top speed (one
in chrome & one in black finish) and the other with 1/2000th (for
the R2000) in chrome.
|
Canonflex Waist Level Viewer Canon
called this a Waist Level Viewer. Having 4x magnification of the image,
it looks more like a Magnifying Finder. It can be used on both the original
Canonflex and the Canonflex R2000 models. |
Canon Camera Holders The
Canon Camera Holder R is used when mounting the Original Canonflex camera
on a tripod. It enables the camera to be centered over the tripod.
The Canonflex RP/R2000 use Camera Holder R-2. The
Canonflex RM uses Camera Holder R-3. |
Canon Bellows R The Canon Bellows R is essential for critical high magnification photography. Numerous adapters were offered for various applications. Extensions of up to 125mm are available using this sturdy unit. The Canon Bellows R is also
an integral part of the longer (300mm to 1000mm) R lenses where it is
used as the focusing mount for these lens heads.
Canon Macrophoto Couplers The Canon
Macrophoto Couplers are used to reverse mount Canonflex lenses on extension
tubes for close-up photography. |
Canonflex Extension Tube Set Canon
manufactured several different sets of extension tubes for the Canonflex.
A typical extension tube is displayed. |
Canon Tele-Coupler R The
Canon Tele-Coupler R is used to mount the lenses of 200mm and longer from
the Rangefinder cameras on the Canonflex. It replaces the RF Mirror Box
Reflex Housing and is quite an uncommon accessory.
|
Canon Close-up Lenses 240 & 450 The
Canon Close-up Lenses provide the simplest way of taking close-ups with
the Canonflex. Photos as close as 10" lens to subject are possible
with these lenses. With these lenses it is advisable to stop down the
prime lens to around f/8 for maximum sharpness. |
Canon Lens Mount Converters A & B These
mounts are used to adapt screw mount Canon lenses to and from the Canonflex/Canon
Rangefinder Cameras. |
Canon Focusing Adapters R-A The Canon Focusing Adapters were made to facilitate the use of the Rangefinder Canon lens heads on the Canonflex for focusing from infinity down to 1:1. All three
of R-A adapters (for the 85, 100 and 135mm lens heads) are shown below.
The R-A version shown on the far left, takes the RF lens head from the
85/1.9 (chrome mount) lens. The R-A adapter in the center, takes the lens
head from the 100/2.0 lens. The R-A adapter on the right, is for the 135/3.5
(chrome mount) lens. |
Canon Focusing Adapter R-B The Canon
Focusing Adapters were made to facilitate the use of the Rangefinder
Canon lens heads on the Canonflex for focusing from infinity down to
1:1. The R-B model takes the lens head from the 100/3.5 later RF lenses.
|
Canon Lens Mount Converter E The
Canon Lens Mount Converter E enables me to use my extensive collection
of Exakta lenses on the Canonflex Camera. Unfortunately, they can only
be used in the manual mode. |
Canonflex Flash Coupler R The Flash Coupler R enables shoe mount flash units, etc., to be used on the Canonflex. All Canonflex's lack permanent accessory shoes. This unit can also be used on the Canon 7 rangefinder camera.
It is not a "hot" shoe, the pc cord from the flash must be plugged
into the pc connection at the center of the coupler. |
|
Canon Model V Flash The Canon
Model V Flash will also fit the Canon 7 Rangefinder cameras. |
Canon Model V-2 Flash The later
model Canon Model V-2 Flash displayed below will also fit the Canon 7
Rangefinder cameras. |
Canonflex Lens Hoods Displayed is a typical Canonflex lens hood with its proper box and case. |
Canonflex Box-Style Eveready Case The case
displayed below was the earliest model offered for the Canonflex - uncommon.
|
Canonflex Traditional Eveready Case The more
traditional style Canonflex Leather Fitted Case is shown below - very
nice leathers used. |
Canon Lens Cases Canon supplied
fitted cases with most of their lenses. Two such cases are displayed.
