Notes: |
Praktina mount manual and preset lenses can be used on all Praktina models. Semi-automatic Praktina lenses for the FX, Version 2, fit but will not work properly on the Praktina IIA, Version 1. The fully automatic lenses for Praktina IIA fit but won't work on either version FX. Only the Praktina IIA, Version 2, works with both types of lenses. This can be seen in the mechanism to stop down the lens diaphragm. The internal actuating pin on the FX, Version 2, moves outward while the diaphragm actuating pin on the IIA moves inward when the shutter release is pressed causing the diaphragm to close. |
