Rollei SL35M

The Rolleiflex SL35M was the first SLR produced by Rollei solely at their Singapore facility. Based on the Zeiss Ikon Icarex SL706, the SL35M was not up to the expectations of the camera public. For what it was, it was rather pricey and often had reliability problems.

It was available only in a satin black version and was offered with either a 50mm f1.8 or 50mm f1.4 Rollei HFT Planar lens. It's high selling price and the fact that Rollei did not advertise it enough lessened the support it received, In addition, it only had match needle metering capabilities..
