The Rolleiflex SL35ME was the second model SL35 series camera produced by Rollei solely at their Singapore facility. As with its' predecessor SL35M, it was based on the Zeiss Ikon Icarex SL706.

It was available only in a satin black version and was offered with the 50mm f1.8 Rollei HFT Planar lens. It has aperture priority through-the-lens metering with automatic exosure capabilities from 4 seconds to 1/1000 and mechanical shutter speed settings from 1/30th to 1/1000th plus B. Again like trhe SL35M, it was rather large and had a high selling price.
